Yoga is a deeply connecting practice, giving people an insight into themselves. Pantanjali, the patron saint of Yoga said “mastery combines a balance of science and art”.

Combining the knowledge from both human anatomy and physiology, with a little effort toward spiritual awareness, are key to improving performance, experiencing fewer injuries and cultivating health, happiness and a greater sense of self awareness and consciousness.

Geelong Myotherapy and Wellness Centre believe that Yoga is an approach to life that values balance and harmony. The body, breath and mind are united to encourage internal peacefulness, greater clarity and a heightened integration of being.

A regular Yoga practice, will allow clients an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of their body, mind and emotional well-being, which inadvertently will assist with the ongoing injuries and physical pressures that lead them into a treatment room in the first place.

The regular  Yoga classes on our timetable differ in styles. Our timetable does change depending on the season and who is available in the space. Please check below for what is on offer at the moment or call the Centre.

These classes are open to any student, young or old, beginner or experienced with a focus on creating an environment that is inclusive, all embracing and supportive.

What we do promise is that ALL classes at Geelong Myotherapy and Wellness Centre will be an experience, a personalised experience, that will leave you feeling that little bit more connected to your truth…the real you.

What do I need to bring to a Yoga class?

All mats and props are provided. However, if you have your own mat, you are more than welcome to use it.

Rooms are heated to a comfortable temperature.

What Can I Expect At The Different Styles Of Classes?

BEGINNER YOGA: 75 MIN CLASS – Heated/Non Heated FOUNDATIONAL, EMBRACING, GUIDED & SUPPORTIVE A gentle introduction to Yoga with a focus on building strength, awareness and an understanding of the Foundations of Yoga. Classes will build each week, allowing students to gain confidence to step into any regular Flow class thereafter. Expect a supportive environment, allowing you to grow and strengthen at your own pace. A wonderful class for those that have longed to attend a Yoga class and have never had the opportunity (or confidence to) or those that want to develop a deeper understanding and grasp on the basics of Yoga. Book A Class Here or Call 5248 7321

 

ENERGISING YOGA: 60 MIN CLASS – Heated DYNAMIC, STRENGTHENING, CONTROLLED & EXPLORATIVE A dynamic class, using Vinyasa style sequencing to generate heat and strength from the inside out. With a focus on using breath awareness to move fluidly from pose to pose whilst encuraging a strong yet easeful pace. Expect to be challenged to push new boundaries, whilst maintaining presence and awareness, transforming both mind and body. These classes are open to any student wanting to embrace the next level.
